Electrolysis Hair Removal
The only permanent hair removal method recognised by the FDA, performed with meticulous precision across every hair type and skin tone.
Permanent. Proven. Precise.
Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method recognised by the FDA. Unlike laser, which can only reduce hair and cannot treat all hair colours or types, electrolysis permanently disables every individual follicle regardless of hair colour, skin tone, or hair thickness.
A fine, sterile probe, not a needle, is gently inserted into the natural opening of each hair follicle. A precise, controlled electrical current is delivered to the follicle, permanently destroying the cells responsible for hair growth. The hair is then gently removed.
With each correctly treated follicle, that hair is gone permanently. No regrowth. No repeat.

The BIAE describes electrolysis as "the only medically approved form of permanent hair removal," which it states is supported by the BMA, FDA and AAA. — BIAE (British Institute and Association of Electrolysis)

Thermolysis & Blend.
At Eve Electrolysis we use two methods, selected based on your individual hair type, follicle depth, and treatment area. Both are clinically established. Both are permanent.
Thermolysis
A high-frequency alternating current generates localised heat precisely at the base of the hair follicle, permanently destroying the dermal papilla. Fast, precise, and effective for all hair types. The current is localised entirely to the follicle and does not pass through the body, making it suitable for a wide range of clients.
Blend
Blend combines a thermolysis current with a galvanic direct current, creating a chemical reaction within the follicle. We use it for curved, distorted or deeply rooted follicles, where that chemical action can reach parts of the follicle heat alone may not. For most hair, Thermolysis is equally effective; Blend is simply the right choice for these more challenging follicle shapes. Galvanic current is never used on its own.
At your consultation, our team will advise which method, or combination of methods, is most appropriate for your hair type, follicle depth, and individual circumstances.
Not a needle.
A probe.
Every treatment uses a new, sterile probe, opened in front of you and used only once. The probe is fine and smooth with a rounded tip – it slides gently into the follicle’s natural opening, alongside the hair, without piercing or cutting the skin.
The probe glides into the follicle’s natural opening alongside the hair. It does not pierce the skin.
Where we can treat.
Electrolysis treats external, dry skin. We can treat the external nose and the outer ear, but not the moist and sensitive areas inside the nostrils or ear canal – and we do not treat the genital areas.
